What We do

At Riverland Homes, we listen first. And then we design with passion. And then we build with pride. We work hard to deliver homes that strike the right balance between form and function, which include the features and functionality homeowners want and that provide a good value to our home buyers.

Established in 2000 by a team with over 30 years of experience in the homebuilding industry, we build residential communities primarily in established neighborhoods across the greater Sacramento area.

Our principals are directly involved in every stage of the homebuilding process, from land acquisition, underwriting and home design to construction and finish selections. Our CEO personally designs most of the homes we build, and our President directly oversees construction, visiting every project site regularly.

Philosophy

Homeowners today need and want a home that fits a range of family sizes and types, and a range of lifestyles. Multiple generations often share a home. Homeowners often work from home. Kitchens are more of a gathering area than ever. Homebuyers can no longer justify wasted space.

At Riverland Homes, we design homes that buyers can comfortably call home now and in the future. Our homes feature open floor plans, with an integrated family room, kitchen and eating area. Of course, we always include energy saving features as well.

Many of our plans include an optional office accessible directly from the entry. Some plans feature a bedroom with an en suite bathroom for guests or separate generations sharing the home. Other plans include a “flex” room buyers can use as a formal dining room, a separate living room, an office or even an additional bedroom.

We also design for efficiency, endeavoring to maximize functional space with open, thoughtful layouts and attention to detail. We do all this while also achieving an understated elegance, enhanced with designer finishes and available buyer selections and upgrades.
